Are you passionate about shaping the future of work through artificial intelligence? Heart & Stroke is seeking an AI Enablement Product Manager to lead the discovery, prioritization, design, prototyping, piloting, scaling, and continuous evaluation of AI use cases that drive meaningful business value across the organization.

In this role, you will partner with colleagues across the organization to uncover, define and scope high-value, opportunities where AI can improve workflows and outcomes. You will work with internal SMEs and external partners to identify and translate business needs into AI use cases, build and validate solutions through pilots and proof-of-concepts, guide new AI tools through the AI intake and approval process, and support scaling of approved tools and solutions responsibly.

By combining strong product thinking with AI fluency, you will shape the AI roadmap, prioritize ideas based on value, feasibility, and risk, and ensure benefits are realized, and learnings are captured. This role plays a critical part in enabling responsible AI adoption across the organization that strengthens how employees work and how Heart & Stroke delivers impact.

How you will make an impact every day

Enable AI use cases to learn & get value:

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI use cases, from discovery through measurable impact.
  • In partnership with the Director, AI and Innovation and our AI Steering Committee, lead the identification, definition, and prioritization of a pipeline of AI use cases aligned to organizational priorities and business needs, including articulating expected value, and supporting organization‑wide prioritization decisions.

  • Partner with business teams to understand priorities and evaluate workflows and pain points, translating them into clearly scoped AI use cases with defined success measures.

  • Own the full use‑case lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, design, prototyping, piloting, scaling, and continuous evaluation.

  • Take a hands‑on role in rapidly prototyping and testing AI solutions (e.g., configuring Copilot Studio agents or low‑code / no‑code automations) to validate value before a full build.

  • Define KPIs and success criteria for each use case and use evidence‑based insights to recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, iterated, or discontinued.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of emerging AI capabilities (with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot and related tools) to inform use‑case design and feasibility.

  • Partner with IT and other technical teams to support the implementation and scaling of approved AI use cases, including coordinating technical feasibility, integrations, security considerations, and readiness for deployment.

  • Advise business teams on workflow improvements and automation opportunities where AI can streamline processes, reduce manual effort, or improve quality and efficiency.

Establish KPIs and track benefits and learnings:

  • Ensure AI use cases are delivering value by defining success measures, monitoring outcomes, and using insights and feedback to inform continuous learning and future prioritization.
  • Define clear success measures and signals for AI use cases in partnership with business teams, focusing on adoption, efficiency, and quality.

  • Track and monitor AI use case outcomes over time to understand what is working, what is not, and where adjustments are needed.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights (e.g., adoption data, workflow feedback, user input) to assess realized value and learning from pilots and scaled solutions.

  • Share insights and recommendations with leaders to inform decisions on scaling, iterating, pausing, or discontinuing AI use cases.

  • Continuously gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to improve AI tools, workflows, and enablement approaches.

  • Use learnings from implemented use cases to inform future prioritization and AI roadmap decisions.

Manage AI Governance:

  • Ensure responsible, compliant, and well‑governed AI adoption across the organization.
  • Guide AI tools and use cases through the AI intake, review, and approval process, working closely with Legal, Privacy, IT, and other stakeholders.

  • Support teams in navigating governance requirements during exploration, testing, and proof‑of‑concept phases.

  • Ensure required documentation, risk assessments, and approvals are completed efficiently and consistently.

  • Uphold organizational AI policies by providing guidance, answering questions, and identifying areas where governance processes or policies may need to evolve.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate people, process, and data risks associated with AI use cases, in partnership with appropriate subject‑matter experts.

  • Maintain visibility into approved AI tools and use cases to support organizational transparency and accountability.

Support organization‑wide learning:

  • Enable learning through use cases, insights, and collaboration rather than owning training delivery.
  • Identify AI‑related capability and confidence gaps based on use‑case work, adoption data, and employee feedback.

  • Partner with Learning & Development and vendors to inform upskilling initiatives, AI training sessions, workshops, etc.

  • Monitor feedback related to confidence, usability, and adoption, and recommend improvements to AI products or enablement approaches.

  • Provide subject matter input to support learning resources and materials connected to AI use cases and workflows.

Manage external vendors:

  • Ensure vendor engagements support internal goals without creating dependency.
  • Provide input into selection of vendors to support use case work and maintain roster of high-quality vendors

  • Liaise with external vendors during evaluation, piloting, and implementation of AI use cases and services.

  • Clarify scope, requirements, success criteria, and timelines to ensure vendor work aligns with Heart & Stroke priorities.

  • Track vendor contributions and support budgeting accuracy (e.g., monitoring vendor hours and deliverables).

  • Where possible, reduce reliance on vendors by enabling internal prototyping and knowledge transfer.

Cross‑functional collaboration:

  • Work effectively across teams to move AI use cases from idea to impact.
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT, PMO, Legal, Learning & Development, HR and Communications to support the delivery of AI use cases with clear roles and decision pathways.

  • Create comprehensive briefs, both written and verbal, to develop, deliver and communicate AI and innovation initiatives across different departments.

  • Influence prioritization and decision‑making through evidence‑based recommendations, product insights, and adoption data.

Industry awareness & AI emerging capabilities:

  • Stay current on AI industry trends, platforms, and emerging capabilities, and translate relevant insights into opportunities, recommendations, and prioritization input for Heart & Stroke.
  • Stay current on the AI ecosystem, including key players, platforms, capabilities, and emerging products, and how other organizations are applying them to real business problems, to inform internal strategy and decision‑making.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date expertise on Microsoft 365 Copilot, including new capabilities, roadmap developments, and best‑practice usage patterns relevant to enterprise adoption.
